    White Hart? It's painted black, for a start. Or at least a very dark green. The beer garden is filled with mismatched furniture, the room never seems to get very full, and the bar staff are perfunctory. Still, I like this place because it's quiet and unassuming and not very stressful at all. The pub is very big and there's always plenty of space, you'll rarely have trouble finding a seat. They don't have a wide selection of real ales but this isn't a 'Camra' type place. They also have the best quiz machine in London –it always pays! Well worth a visit.
