A real cool hangout, but without any pretensions so that everyone feels welcome - on the day I visited there were trendy arty types, mums with kids, & office workers all enjoying the great food & atmosphere in the Bar. Best of all is the Terrace overlooking Hammersmith Bridge & the Thames - the food is great & really well-priced, making a change for London! I was seeing a show, but reckon it's just a great place to visit anytime.

The space is looking really dated these days but the Riverside Cafe Bar is still serving up some good grub - come here before the double bill at the cinema for good burgers, salads, and resonably priced cocktails and try to get a seat outside overlooking the Thames!
Top tip: the Sunday brunch is especially good - lots of options from a posh fry-up to lovely porridge. Yum!
