If you want a genuine East End night out then you could do worse than the Cock Tavern. It is a typical East End pub with very pretty barmaids. Most of them are eastern European or Russian but they are very friendly, as is the Landlord, Tommy. It is mostly full of regulars.
They have big screens for sports matches etc, but the actual pub building is very old and has a traditional feel to it. They serve great value Sunday lunches and good bar snacks. They have a garden out the back and...

If you want a genuine East End night out then you could do worse than the Cock Tavern. It is a typical East End pub with very pretty barmaids. Most of them are eastern European or Russian but they are very friendly, as is the Landlord, Tommy. It is mostly full of regulars.
They have big screens for sports matches etc, but the actual pub building is very old and has a traditional feel to it. They serve great value Sunday lunches and good bar snacks. They have a garden out the back and a disco on Friday and Saturday nights til 0200.
