The Hat and Tun (just off Hatton Garden) is a hidden gem serving real ales, premium draught lagers, excellent wines and spirits and good honest pub fare in relaxed surroundings. The Hat and Tun serves classic pub lunches including salt beef sandwiches, pie and mash and ploughman's Monday - Friday. On weekends the entire venues is available for private parties of up 80 people: ideal for birthdays, office parties, engagements or wedding receptions.

This is another lovely little pub, just away from the usual Clerkenwell haunts. I was telling the staff in The Well how much I liked there place, and they recommended I try this place, a sister pub, and was equally enjoyable. It is an oldy sort of pub, that has a really nice drinks list and some really tasty nibbles.
