Le Garrick is a well established popular restaurant/bar renowned for its excellent menu, friendly service and warm atmosphere. We have a ground floor restaurant where you can seat at one of our window tables and watch the wonderful world of London's Covent Garden passing you by or join us downstairs in our intimate bar/dining room in one of our alcoves under candlelight.

Very good value, nice food, convenient location
Le Garrick is a nice place to have dinner on a Saturday night in Covent Garden.
The food is not outstanding but quite good for the price paid. £12 for a reasonably good confit de canard is amazing value in Covent Garden. The menu consists of the "usual suspects" for affordable French restaurants in England (entrecote, confit de canard, moules, onglet, etc...). The bill came to about £25 per person (we had wine, desert, and coffee).
Although the decoration is a bit tacky (think French bella italia), the atmosphere is extremely nice. We were a party of five and were given a nice table in a little alcove that felt like we had our own private room. Wonderful atmosphere too.
Service was extremelly good. It was the waiter's first day, and he was keen to impress (and did, too).
I will definitely go back.

Interesting French restaurant
I was looking around for an interesting restaurant and this fitted the bill. Despite the rather Irish name and look, this is a French restaurant through and through.
I had the special of the day, couscous and merguez sausages, which was well prepared and presented. The wine list could have been a little more extensive but the rose we drank was nice enough and the service also pleasant - even though we were the last diners, the staff did not try to hurry us out of the restaurant and made us feel welcome.
Recommended.

Handy French Restaurant
A mid-week dinner with friends found us at Le Garrick, a small French restaurant located between Leicester Square and Covent Garden. The street level dining area is perfect for a quick pre-theatre meal, while the lower ground floor is better for a romantic rendezvous....as long as you don't mind your neighbours eavesdropping on your lovey-dovey talk, as the tables are tightly packed.
We sat downstairs - our table for four was crammed into the far corner of the restaurant. Space was a little short, but at least we didn't have people brushing past us all night, as was happening to some of the other tables. But this cosy environment just added to the atmosphere of Le Garrick, and coupled with the lovely French waitress made us feel like we could well have been dining across the channel.
The food was also enjoyable. We skipped starters, enjoying a glass of wine and a chat instead. For main course, the Rib-eye steak was the winner - cooked perfectly, flavoursome, and accompanied by plenty of frites. Desserts were also tasty....and I really regretted having to share the Petit Pot au Chocolat. Next time I will definitely have one all to myself!

Good Value French Restaurant
Le Garrick is a typical French restaurants/brasserie. You have a few tables on the ground floor which overlook Garrick street and all the people going to the theatre. Downstairs you have a wine bar and more tables that create a cosy atmosphere. The staff is friendly, the food is value for money, and they make great steaks
