Sister of Freemason's Arms; almost a restaurant these days. Tourists prefer Spaniards but OB&B very reliable nonetheless.

One of the first two pubs you reach with a car park as you leave London heading north, this pub is not as 'ye olde' as its rival Spaniards and has a younger, more restaurant-y feel to it. The outside space gets very lively in the summer evenings but isn't a match for Spaniard's excellent (tho wasp-infected!) beer garden.

There isn't much space for 'drinkers' these days as most of the pub is now sit-down space targeted at eating. Both in restaurant mode or 'bar menu' mode the food is respectable but not write-home good. Burgers, swordfish, pizzas and half chickens are order of the day.
