Great little pub! Cosy, intimate, friendly.

It gets absolutely rammed Thursday-Saturday, which is a shame but really adds some buzz to the atmosphere.

In a perfect world there would be a couple more beers, but the one they do have (usually, though not I think exclusively, Pride) is always excellent. And they boast a modest selection of lagers, Guinness and Aspall catering to all tastes!

I haven't eaten there since they brought in a new chef, but the food before hand was excellent. It's a pretty gastro-pub menu and you're best getting there early (or phoning to reserve a table) if you're planning to eat.

The pub itself is pretty quirky - "shabby chic" probably sums it up. Unpretentious, almost lazy, which make it feel relaxed, homely and welcoming.

Best pub in Camden, definitely one to patronise if you're in the area.

This is a lovely spot, intimate and cosy and on a side street away from the madness that Camden can be. It's a nice place for chatting and sociable drinking. I haven't eaten there but the food seems regular gastropub fare. The eating are is separate to the drinking area, which annoys me generally but it works here. I'll definitely be going to try the food sometime.

This is such a great pub! And when I moved out of Camden, (albeit up the road!!) I knew that this is what I would miss the most. It has such a quirky unfinished ‘dirty’ appearance, far from the minimalistic same old same old that is taking over London! They do an amazing Sunday lunch, in fact all of the food cannot be faulted! Including the sharing platters which I could happily eat alone! They don’t have a beer garden, but they do have benches and table to the side. Go on a chilly day and sit yourself down by the open fire...bliss!

I'd forgotten all about this place until I saw Kaliova's review!

I've only been once but I thought this pub was like a breath of fresh air in Camden. Its central yet it attracts a good crowd who are well-looked after by the friendly staff serving a pretty good choice of beers if I remember rightly. Nice decor and nice atmosphere!

I really must remember to come here next time I'm in Camden.

There really is absolutely nothing wrong with this pub - beautiful interior, nice crowd, good beer, good food, good music, open late, tucked away, often busy but never horrendously so.
