Whilst Finsbury Park may no longer be the thriving Irish community that it once was, the Twelve Pins is still very much an Irish bar in the very best sense. It is a fine big pub with good food, great sevice and a warm welcome. Early evenings attract a very mixed clientelle with office types, couples and commuters socialising side by side with the predominantly Irish locals who are the mainstay of the 'Pins' business.

No matter how busy the place gets, and when Arsenal are playing at home it is jam-packed, the service is always prompt and polite. The food has to be seen and enjoyed to be believed..!! Generous portions of traditional roast dinners are the order of the day here and the Irish Stew and soda bread is as good as you will get anywhere.

Pints are reasonably priced and the Guinness is particularly good as you might expect in an environment that has a distinctly Irish feel to it.

So the next time you are in the area give it a try, you won't be disappointed..!!
