London's worst-kept secret
Gordon's is an absolute treasure of an establishment. Unfortunately, it's the worst-kept secret in town, and it seems that every time I've managed to get there recently it's been absolutely jam-packed.
If it's summertime, the small outdoor area is a beautiful place to share some bottles of wine with friends. If you're looking for a cozier time, try to get one of the tables inside that seems to have been only recently dug out of the ground. (Very cave-like, and VERY low ceilings.)
As for the wine menu, it's fantastic. Lots of variety, and good value for money.
This is one of the more unique central London establishments I've been to, and heartily recommend it.
