It has the ambience of a traditional local pub with a pinch of Gothic as groups of trendy Shoreditch residents huddled into corners supping on their pints. The Horse and Groom loves music and parties, so on the weekends you'll often find live music gigs (worth checking their listings), an organised event or if you have something to celebrate you could always hire their upstairs function room for a private party.
They have recently taken on a French chef who will cook you up a feast from the Creole/ French menu.
