Their wine list is exceptional and well researched, these guys are experts and have selected the best wines from all over the world.

It speaks for it's self when around 6pm the place is jam packed with people. Even though it's a bit pretentious it's still one of my favorite places to go for a relaxed glass of wine.

I first discovered Bedales whilst meandering around borough market trying to restrain myself from buying far more food than I needed for a dinner party that evening. There was a European couple outside enjoying a bottle and they looked so blissfully happy i found myself taking a look at the bar that had put such smiles on thier faces.

It didn't take me long to find out how; Bedales, along with simple and delicous tapas, offer all of their wines for sale at retail price. If you wan't to enjoy a bottle over tapas you just pay £5 corkage, as opposed to usual extortionate markups.

Bedales is firmly at the top of my list of favorite places to drink as you can afford to sample different wines and try new things rather than conservatively sticking to a safe choice so you don't get bitten. What a joy.
