A mixed bag, this
A quaint little pub with a wonderful interior, right by the canal - ideal if you're passing through on a walk - you can sit on the green outside. The decor is very old fashioned (gold wallpaper) and in lovely condition. But the prices are a bit on the high side and the service rather idiosyncratic - it's normally lovely when the landlord takes time out to talk to customers, but not when he's in the middle of serving you your order! Perhaps better for a session than dropping in for a quick pint.
