Delightful bar, had a really nice bottle of wine here - can't remember the name of the wine otherwise I'd recommend it!

Good food, a great stop on the way home from work on a hot summers day - only downside is outside you get a lot of traffic noise from the main road.

A Bottlescrue during a hot summer

The Bottlescrue is a small quiet bar/pub which sits dead on the line between Holborn and the City of London. Its opposite the Holborn Viaduct Thameslink but seems to always be very quiet. The decor isn't great, wooden seats and tables in a old style pub way but outside there is tons seats and tables. Its fantastic on a hot summers day. A real gem if you can find it.
