The Prince Regent is a grand Victorian pub sensitively renovated in maroon and dark wood, with large marble fireplaces. A great selection of draught beers are available, including Adnam's, Shepherd Neame and Kuppers Kolsch. Good pub food is also served.

Reviews for The Prince Regent

I love this place. Granted, my review could be a bit skewed as it's my neighbourhood pub and a convenient place to meet friends.

BUT- even if none of these variables applied, I would still love it. With it's funky and cozy decor of mismatched, yet somehow appropriate furniture, to the d.j. spinning tunes on a Sunday while you eat your fishcakes, to the well dressed, 30-something, Marylebone gang, this place is always on the agenda.

Additionally, it has an equally cool and cosy room upstairs where you can lounge out on the sofas or hire as a private function room.

The only thing that stops me from giving The Prince Regent five stars is its food. It's nothing special. I advise in sticking to a liquid lunch here.

We used to come here loads for sneaky pub lunches, leaving dos and post work drinks. It's good fun but there are better pubs around here like 1858 and The Angel in the Fields.

Food is fine but bland. A bit greasy and heavy on the potato wedges. A bit too samey.

It's the kind of place you try to avoid going to because you go there so often and there are better places to go to.

This is a great little pub on Marylebone road. The décor is really nice with chandeliers above the bar, big comfy seats, and they have a room for hire upstairs. I had smoked haddock fish cakes and home made potato wedges, served with salad. Portions are very good. The air-conditioning is not best resolved in here so it can be a bit cold even on a sunny day. Some people say that the crowd can be snobbish but I didn’t notice. The biggest downside is that it’s a smoking venue but with seating outside and during lunch hour it wasn’t smoky at all.

This place should be a whole lot better come 1 July!
