Bar Kick has different vibes on different days, with the nicest mixture of customers from local Shoreditch and all over the World. If you are after a beautiful lunch or a good night out, we put all the effort in so you won’t get disappointed. If you would like to reserve table football tables or tables to eat, spaces to celebrate or if you would like to hire the whole of the basement, we try to make it possible.

Ray of sunshine
Fantastic friendly bar, colourful, fun and lively, like a circus. Good beers and lovely food but my favourite thing is to have coffee with their cake made with Ricard. Shoreditch bars can be unbearably pompous but Kick welcomes everybody and consequently their clientele is a very healthy mix and it makes for a nice atmosphere. They are nuts about table football but never make you feel excluded. Five-star venue.

oh what a nice bar! Portuguese /Brazilian atmosphere although the owner is English... you can also play table football, although I got bitten there so many times by my Brazilian friends that I am not sure it is such a good idea...
Great food, especially the chorizo sandwich. quite difficult to find a space on the weekend!

Fresh, bright, buzzy
I think Bar Kick is great too!
It's funny, there are so many bars around Shoreditch but this one really stands out. I think it's because people can actually DO something there apart from yakking and boozing. You can talk and drink in any old bar... Slot machines are kind of sleazy and anti-social but bar football is sociable and fun! There should be more bars where you get to play games! Plus, it's so bright and colourful with all the flags and bunting, you just feel as though sun is streaming in!
I would avoid it on a 'real' football night though because I don't like crowds.

Get your kick on
As recently crowned web 2.0 table football champions http://trustedplaces.com/blog/2007/04/10/baby-foot-20/
this place is close to my heart. The championship was held at the sister bar in Exmouth Market -Cafe Kick - but Bar Kick is an excellent Shoreditch choice.
Not just a bar, it also provides ample exercising potential with more tables than you can shake your booty at.
Couple with excellent music, a quirky Brazilian/Portuguese inspired decor and the usual bohemian, buzzy shoreditch crowd this is an excellent place to start you night, enjoy your lunch or watch a big football match.
The beautiful and reasonably priced Mojitos will also keep your football team sharp, refreshed and ready for the next challenge.

Foosball Mecca
This is the hub of all Bonzini (French-style foosball tables) activity in the UK. On a Thursday night you'll find all the best players (sometimes even me!) showing off their skills; and it's a cool French-style bar with good cocktails, nice sitting around areas, tasty food, good music and did I mention the foosball? - if it's full, hop in a cab and go to Cafe Kick for a dinkier version of the same...
