Reviews for Charlie Wright's International Bar
I went there for lunch. It is funny how you can tell if a place is a bar or a restaurant by the way it smells...
We had Pad Thai was was quite alright. To order drinks, you will have to go to the bar. The gents were not an eye candy... It is a good option for food. I still want to check the live performance.

August this year we had a supurb & excellent time at Charlie's Wrights. the service the food the wine and the venue, we couldn't have ask for more.
The food was excellent, "I'll Be Back" every bady had a good night out.
even my grandad who was over from Jamica enjoyed the food, it was my mum's birthday bash.
Ita was a five star birthday night out.
Go for the live jazz, it doesn't cost a thing to go in and you'll be pleasently surprised.
Charlie Wright's International Bar serves legendary food for under £5. It's not exactly posh, but then neither are the prices. Go on a Sunday with your mates.
I was in two minds about whether I should write this review. Charlie Wrights is my favourite place to eat and drink in London and I feel like I should share it with you lovely Trusted Places folk, but I don't want it getting any busier!
Charlie Wrights is pub, owned by an Ghanian ex-boxer, that serves delicious, fresh and cheap Thai food (around a fiver for a main course). It's been running for years and has quite a local following. The restaurant is attached to the pub, so you go to the bar to get drinks and pay for your food separately.
As a pub they have decent selection of beers, show the football, have a disco or live music from time to time and is generally a great place to hangout.
The Thai restaurant is exceptional. I have been many times and the quality of the food is always top notch, fragrant and flavourful as thai food should be. I particulary like the jungle curry and 'like a virgin' - (found out for yourself what that is), also the Pad Thai is probably the best I have had outside Thailand. The service is always friendly and the restaurant can get quite busy, but phone ahead and you can generally reserve a table, or sit in the pub and eat.
The perfect place for some late night tasty thai food and a drink.
Oh, they do takeaway food too.
