This Wetherspoon pub takes its name from the adjacent Ice Wharf, which was built in 1837 for ice imported from Norway.

Reviews for The Ice Wharf

As Weatherspoons go, this one is particularly grim and soulless. Capacity for a variety of beer, rarely delivers. Staff are generally surly and unpleasant but so would I be if I had to work there.

A good pub, if not a bit "sterile" for Camden.

If you want something to eat and don't want to spend much then this is your place. But you're in Camden, go and try something different, use the footbridge outside and discover a world of food in the markets.

Being a Weatherspoons it's got a good range of drinks at cheap prices. Good place to start your afternoon. Sitting outside when it's sunny is great, watching the world float by. Theres plenty to watch, including the narrow boats appearing and disappearing behind the lock.

What ever you do, don't spend the whole night here. If your going to do that why visit Camden? There's a world outside your door... Explore it!

Situated right by the canal in Camden, this is a great place to sit out and watch the Camden world go by! And it's really nice inside as well, lots of comfy sofas to chill on. Staff were really friendly, they let us light the birthday cake we brought for our friend and even gave him a complementary shot (of something horrid!). There are loads of seats outside but when we went midweek at night, after a certain time they closed the outside which was a bit of a shame. Drinks are cheap for London being a Lloyds, I’d say it’s a good place for a quiet drink after work in nice surroundings.

I've only been to the Ice Wharf during the week, but it's a perfect venue for a few drinks and some food with friends. Decent music, good selection of drinks at a reasonable price, and it's never absolutely rammed. The Beer & Burger offer is a perfect pre-gig option as well.

I couldn't imagine choosing it for a big night out at the weekend (but to be fair it's not really that kind of bar), but is probably one of my favourite places in the area for a midweek drink.

Very nice pub with reasonably priced drinks and food. Themed nights nearly every night and a dj on friday and saturday nights. Can get very busy on weekend evenings and it's sometimes difficult to find a place to sit.

Good place to be, reasonably priced drinks, and a range of music played, good atmosphere and resonably priced food.

Ice wharf is very good if you want cheap pub food, but good quality.
Evenings are good there as they play a different style of music every night. very busy with a good atmosphere on friday and saturday nights

Ice Wharf is a great place to go with friends if you want good food, cheap drinks and somewhere you can hear yourself speak! it's a wetherspoons so prices are cheaper but the quality is still really high. they do the usual 'curry club' and 'beer and a burger' deals and you can sit by the gorgeous camden lock. They have a variety of nights there as well but the drinks stay cheap anmd there's still enough room to move! a great place for drinks before going onto a club or a quiet night or lunch or a first date but don't expect too much. an entire night in there would get boring!! definitely check it out though, if only to have an ice-cold pint on a warm evening next to the lock. perfect for chilling with friends.
