The Flask is a funny one. The food is tasty - very generous portions made from good quality ingredients - and there's a good selection of beer (including the fruit stuff, ugh) and cider on tap. And it's a really lovely cosy place on a winter's evening, wooden beams and warm lighting in a little rabbit warren of interconnected low-ceilinged rooms... but there's just something I don't like about it that I can't put my finger on, and that's not just in the summer when all the local boys and girls come to hang out in the beer garden and spend their pocket money on shandies to celebrate the end of their GCSEs.

Basically, it's not a bad place to end up if you've been for a cold walk on the heath, but I wouldn't trek up the hill aiming directly at it.

Too expensive..... Easy going atmosphere. Not a great Drinking Hole. Slightly boring!

Yes it is a pricey pub, it has a location. Easy intellectual banter flows through & out of the doors. Tripe!

Pretentious rubbish no hopers pub, Sorry too honest.

This place is great for the Summer, a charmer of a pub inside and out, great fantastic food, great looking girls, and plenty of cool people in General.
This place in the summer, is best on the weekend afternoons, for chilling out, having fun with friends, looking for a prospective love one,
The only reason this gets a four and not a five, is their is a problem getting served quickly due to the small bar, and simply the popularity of the place,
A bit pricey, but why the hell not, the place is fantastic.

Nice looking historical pub that serves good food. However, tiny bar so takes ages to get served and is ruined in the summer by all the 'hoorahs' in their tennis gear.

An old pub with a great front garden. Plenty of sitting space (but gets busy in the evenings), plants, covered outdoor seating, serve great organic cider (Weston-something brand), nice and cozy inside.
