we will not be going again - we visited once and both children had the fish and chips - they spent all night being terribly sick - reporting our concern we were not impressed by customer service - we finally received a letter saying that basically as we could not prove it was their food that made the kids ill nothing else could be done …

I came here after having a voucher for £5 off a £10 spend, wasn't sure if this was a pub or a restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised with the service and choices on the menu. Was glad it wasn't a typical noisy pub, and felt relaxed in the chic surroundings. I choose a burger topped with stilton, which came with a decent amount of chips and salad, which was tasty and nicely presented. My dessert was a chocolate pudding which was also tasty. The voucher made my meal £7 which was great value, but even without it the prices are reasonable. Will definitely go for a platter next time I come here.

Smart, chic, trendy, a better example of what a Slug and Lettuce can be. I've always found it clean, nice atmosphere, nice staff, efficient and friendly table service, food is always good. It IS a S&G and quite obviously so but a fine example. I would rate it higher but I'm just not a fan of that kind of bar.
