IF you want to party south of the river...
I love this place!
I've never had a bad night in this place and I've been going here for years.
Friday nights is Fidget for hiphop/street soul/funk with a more trendy, urban feeling crowd.
Saturday is for House and disco with a slightly euro' styled crowd.
Sunday has a different night each week but I love the soul night with guest PA's like Shaun Escoffery recently.
They are normally the host for most of the Brixton academy after parties too which is fun!
Now, they have two floors!! As they have a new basement room which is just as good and gives more room to have wiggle. Staff are lovely, drinks are good and they have 2 for 1 deals if you get in there early - straight from work crowd, your time!!!
If you want to have a giggle, dance, meet mixed crowd of happy Londoners - they do exist I promise - then Plan B is your place

Brixton Cool
When it opened in 2002 Plan B seemed to be the night-spot that Brixton and South London was crying out for - an uncomplicated, unpretentious place to get busy on the dancefloor. Its innovative design (its in the shape of a letter b - geddit?)central location, fatback sound system and bass-heavy rump-shakin music policy (that wobbles towards the funky end of the spectrum)quickly attracted a loyal following. For a while it was probably the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night and the friendly vibe of the 'in-the-know' groovers enhanced the quality of the place no end. The last time I went there was about a year ago I reckon and while it was still a fun-filled night it definitely seemed to have lost its edge. Suppose its inevitable really. The worst thing I found is that towards the end of the night the place tends to develop a seedy edge as loads of guys flood the dancefloor looking for some action. Still definitely worth checking out especially Friday nights for Fidgit - a funk/hiphop extravaganza that has been known to breakout into full on dancehall booty grindin. The Thursday night Throwdown (MC & b-boy battles) and the Marvel Lounge (open mic/spoken word) is also one to look out for for somethin a bit different.

Got no plans?
Plan B has a very good vibe to it. The clientelle are very mixed (as many gangsta wanabes as there are young professionals) all seem to be brought together by great music. Gets very difficult to not dance and with me knees it gets down right dangerous. Don't think I've ever had a bad night at this place.
