Reviews for Strawberry Moons
Me and my friends were at Strawberry Moons last Saturday and had a booth for the night as one of my friends were celebrating their 23rd birthday. We got 2 tasty free platters included with reserving our own area. Service was really good as drinks were flowing and staff were really nice. The DJ played all the latest hits and got everyone moving on the dancefloor. The price of drinks were reasonable. The place definately had a good vibe and everyone was just having a good time. Couldnt have asked for a better night out!! If anyone out there has plans to celebrate a birthday or hen night as we saw a couple of hen parties than this is the place....
Went to Strawberry Moons a few weeks ago with some friends - dance floor was absolutely packed...so ended up on stage...under the spotlight...on the pole...again!
Second visit this year - until 2008 haven't been there for about 5 years or more. Even more lively than I recall, everyone out for a good time, very friendly.
I even got chatted up by one of the Shot Girls - yow!
I was warned off but i didn't care i knew I was gonna love it and I did. I felt really dreadful when I got to the club but switched from teary to drunk and very happy in minutes. From the Gorden Ramsey look alike, to the guy who taught me salsa, this is a friendly fun crowd of people. I had been told it was a meat market and the guys did seem incredibly easy to talk to but they were all very nice and relaxed and not at all pushy.
The music was cheeeeesy and there were many times when I jumped up and down in excitement. many times. Cocktails are great but not strong and the dance floor was packed. I can't say a bad word really. But then i was terribly terribly pissed.
Strawberry Moons...everytime I hear the name of this central London haunt I have visions of My Little Pony's frolicking through fluffy pink clouds. I've always wanted to check it out and last night I did.
The cue was reasonable, the doorman was cool and the price wasn't too bad for a bar just off Regent Street.
Now, the tunes...the tunes were nothing short of perfect. All the cheese and some of the charts. It was grrreat! I think it may be my new favourite bar. However, it was absolutely packed and super hot. Not much room for this is my dance space, this is your dance space but we managed to dance our suitably refreshed butts off and had a great time.
If you're looking for a club on a Saturday night, and you happened to be in the vicinity of the most whimsically named club this side of Regent Street, this one is well worth a look.
