As Alan has already covered most of the essentials on the White House, I won't waste too many words except to say that the White House is basically someone's house, converted into a god-awful nightspot, where the self-proclaimed "cool" crowd of Clapham gathers to get drunk and pull. Just don't go there. Unless you like getting drunk and pulling, of course. Apparently they do food there as well, but why you'd want to eat in a place with so little character is beyond me.

Although I do agree with the sentiment, you really should try harder with your reviews. I mean anyone can just rehash (in a prosaically inferior manner) what I wrote. Pah!

Ooh, I think the first trustedplaces war of words may be about to start. 1-0 to Buraco for now. Let's see what NTF will come back with...

Surely you should be pleased that you said it so well in the first place that I am merely confirming the sentiment? Though I'm not so sure that "prosaically inferior" is correct...

Prosaically inferior? Buraco I think all that brazil is making you forget your english! unless of course i do not get it - please enlighten us.

    Buraco at 24th August 2006

as in inferior use of prose you foos. do me a favour - lessons on english from a finn and a greek??

    NikoTheFinn at 29th August 2006

I was not, in fact, commenting on the grammatical correctness of the Hole's statement. It was directed purely at the factual inaccuracy of the sentiment contained within the statement that I was objecting to.
