Reviews for Revolution Bar

We went there for a girlie lunch today as it's near our workplace and have always wanted to go. They have quite a few food specials going on (pizza and burgers 2for1). The burgers (especially the chips) was really good and the portions big. Our waiter was very rushed and cleared our table while one girl was still eating. We all found him very rude with no "table-side" manners. Although he was the only waiter I could see, it wasn't busy at all (maybe 4 other tables, and by the time we were done it was empty again) so I don't understand what the rush was about. The bill was only £22 for 3 of us (we did not have alcohol) so wasn't too disappointed although I wouldn't recommend it for lunch to someone else.

First of, I am not a big fan of bar chains (for reasons most people are not) but this specific Vodka Rev Bar is a good place to go!

You might actually miss it if you don't know its there as its nestled on a side street which looks like a glorified back ally but once found on a Friday night you can have a lot of fun with a group of friends or work chums.

And that is what you are likely to find on a Friday night in there, a lot of people who work in Soho going for that "thank god its friday" "ONE" drink and end up snogging someone they shound not have 4 hours later (not talking about myself....)

The Vodka cocktail pitchers are a must in my opinion and there are some great ones to choose from my fav being the "absolute chambles" which is basically vodka, sparkling white wine and redbull :-)

The music is loud enough to be enjoyed but not too loud
you need to shout in the person next to yous ear and It seems quite an easy place to strike up a conversation (chat up) and have a good time.

It can be a pain in the bum to get served which is its only real major downside unless you count shutting at 11pm a bad thing.

So to some up if your with a group of friends in Soho and are looking for somewhere to have drinks and some banter and are prepared to have to go join the ques somewhere else after 11pm then you could do a lot worse than this Vodka Revolution.

If you like vodka, or just socialising in a funky bar, then revolutions might just be the place for you. True to its theme, the primary colour is red, the whole bar is swathed in red, red lights, red boothes. There are tv's displaying slighting funny revolutionary propaganda. But the real reason to go to revolutions is the drinks. £12 will get you a tray of 6 multicoloured and multiflavoured shots. The flavours themselves vary hugely from birthday cake (rather sickly sweet) to minty choc chip. There is securtiy on the door and the atmosphere within the bar is friendly. The music is very loud which might not be a problem for some but you have been warned, overall a great bar.

Great place! A full range of vodkas on offer, rowdy and ideal for a pre-club couple of drinks. The chilli vodka is particularly deadly but there are plenty of other beers on offer. Unless you get there early, prepare to do your drinking standing up with plenty to stare at. The decor is trendy and cool - as to the music, can't really remember so the vodkas do work after all!!

Revolution bars are well known for their vodka cocktails! this one is no different. they do a range of drinks but the cocktails take some beatings.

The nightclub area comes alive after 11pm and the themed nights are great fun. Perfect for groups of friends

One bugbear is the annoying photographers who are always on the prowl for drunk people to have their picture taken then stump up cash for a crap shot!

Great place for a few drinks although try and go and get happy hour prices, otherwise can be an expensive evening.

Though I cant stand chains, I cant seem to find anything really wrong with this place, they offer great service, great music, great range of drinks, called quality nachos, and even free wi-fi access.

The bouncers are friendly enough, the toilet attendent offers aftershave like any other trendy bar round the area, and the girls, should you be interested, are nice looking friendly.

This place has a great atmosphere, great service, reasonably priced, and a good place to start the evening on a good night out round soho.

Been here a few time, its a pleasant enough bar chain. The cocktails always taste very good and are mixed quite well with good, fresh ingredients. However its the vodka shots that are the thing to go for in this place, you can get them on tays and makes for a good night. Word of serious WARNING: Unless you're real tought (i.e. a vindaloo is very mild for you) avoid the chilli Vodka, it does strange things to your insides. Nice pokey place for a early evening drink and given its location in Soho, it doesn't get overly packed.

A man like you taken out by a chilli vodka? tututut I think you're getting soft D. Less football and more drinking is what you need - me thinks.
