Unprententious, great staff
It says above that this is a pub favoured by music and media types....well you wouldn't think so when you're in there. Compared to other Soho pubs this is full of gentile and meek souls. Ok, that's a lie, but its not full of media luvvies like you would imagine a pub in this area to be. Its far more down to earth than that - and its clientele is reflected in its staff - they're down-to-earth no nonsense sorts.
The music can be a bit loud at times but at least they play a pretty good selection of stuff. You can usually hear yourself think so it can't be that bad.
There's a good selection of beers which are kept well, its a clean and tidy, and there's plenty of room to stand outside on the sunnier days.
Its nothing to write to home about, but you could do an awful lot worse than to come here if you're down and out in Soho and in need of a pint.
