Reviews for Apartment 195
This was the perfect spot for me and some freinds to get together after some hectic Christmas shopping, we were really well looked after by the staff who reccommended drinks for us. I couldn't make up my mind as there were jsut so many lovley cocktails to try, many of which they seemed to have created themselves. The London cocktails were fun, though I wasn't brave enpugh to try the £350 one!
The atmosphere is just right, dark walls and huge pieces of comtemporary art but nicely lit. Very classy
Last night I went to the Apartment 195 with some friends. My friend Raffy booked a table and recommended the place. It was my first time there and I have to say I love this place!
I was quite surprised as I go to the Kings Road a lot and never spotted this place. The entrance is very well hidden...next to the Henry J Beans so you don't really see it, unless you know of it.
Once you get in, you walk up some stairs and there you are: sofas' armchairs, a fireplace!!! a nice bar and a very nice atmosphere. Last night the place looked beautiful as there were all the Xmas lights on and a nice Xmas tree. We had drinks and some food, everything was very good (we had the Oriental platter, good quality and very good value).
Last night the place was a bit quite (prob coz of Christmas holidays) which was nice as we were catching up with friends. But I was told it's usually very busy...so book a table!!!
I have recently discovered this great bar in Chelsea. Actually, I don't know how I can have missed it before...probably because of the hidden doorway...!
The atmosphere feels exclusive but at the same time intimate and laid back.
There is a good variety of different people; the service, the food and the cocktails are great. When I was there on a Sat night there was also a very cool DJ!
A perfect venue also to organise private parties.
The only downside is that they close at 11.30 pm.
Give it a try, but if you go with a few friends it is better to make a table reservation...
