This smart, laid-back gastropub in a seriously cool part of town is a witty conglomeration of Shaker chic with funky rather rococo details that adds up to a comfortable place to be. The dining room is done out in pale, cool off-whites, with wooden floors and tables, with chandeliers and wall sconces here and there.

You´ll see contrasting elements to the bar - the cream walls, chandeliers and kitchen sideboards (complete with a scattering of bruschetta bread) will make you feel at home and cosy as will the genuinely warm greeting and service you´ll receive all night.

The outlook is perfect for The Bowler because, despite being a young restaurant, it comes with a knowledgeable and charismatic staff. The owners have great pedigree – they masterminded the award-winning Rocket in Acton. And are masterminding what is sure to be another winner here.
