The Skiddaw is a very nice looking bar. It is colored in purple from the outside which stands out... Inside there are some cosy couches and other normal tables. There is a lot of hidden space at the back which I almost missed.

The service was great. When I came in, I told one of the staff that I was waiting for someone and he kindly told me that the person I was waiting for was already in.

We ordered a selection of humus, tzatziki, salsa, vegetable, Kofte and Falafel. They were all equally disappointing. (maybe the tzatziki wasn't that bad after all...)

I recommend this place for drinks but not for food. When I was there ages ago, they also had trivia nights on Wednesday...

Used to be an old Irish alcoholics pub, then the kids moved in and scared them away by snorting coke off the bar and shouting racial abuse at the barman, then they closed it, completely refurbished it, stuck two bouncers on the door so the bad people didn't come back and now it's quite nice...you know, like a typical, yet slightly trendy, local pub should be. I miss the old Irish alcoholics though. My Top Tip: eat your Sunday roast somewhere else.
