The Colton Arms hasn't changed in decades - and most likely won't for the next couple. The washrooms are clean with highly-polished brightwork; the secret garden is small-but-perfectly-formed and is a powerful sun-trap at appropriate times.
No juke box, games machine, pool table or background music.
Very well-kept draught beer however with London Pride as the house ale. Wine by the glass is reasonably priced.
The unadvertised sandwiches are excellent, as is the house recipe for Bloody Mary.
The involved management [a tenanted house] is mature, experienced and possessed of a rare sense of humour.
The dog's name is Bruce.

Great review. Went here ages ago and forgot to put a review in. Agee completely. A hidden Gem in West Kensington - great secret garden.

Very well-kept draught beer and a range of reasonably-priced wines by the glass. Excellent sandwiches and a tasty Bloody Mary.
Comfortable and clean.
