I LOVE this place!! The music is totally street party perfect - sort of a fab mix of samba, salsa, pop and house.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and always smile to say hello. It seems to me they actually enjoy their jobs. This also means there's no pushing and shoving at the bar because the big oaf beside you thinks the bartender hasn't noticed them standing there becuase they don't make eye contact. They DO make eye contact and they SMILE!!

The drinks are also FANTASTIC!! They make a mean Manhattan and their Mojito's are super tasty! No water and sugar flavoured cocktails here.

This is practically my new local.

I had my birthday party here back in April with my best friend - the vibe of the place was great and the cocktails were lovely, although the mojitos did lack a certain consistency (i.e. some had more sugar than others)! It's a pity we didn't think of booking the caravan for our party of around 15 people, as it does tend to get a bit crowded around the bar especially if you're thinking of heading over on a Saturday night. I have been on weekdays as well and it is great - the nachos are delicious and the staff is always friendly. One my faves in Angel!

Booking the caravan is a good plan! Two friends had their birthday their in February - it was lots of fun :)

Yes I will definitely book it for next time! They have a good website with some quite cool offers too if you become a member. :)
