Good find
Good spot this, especially as I was starting to get bored of The Prince Regent and the O Conor Don is long gone (and sadly missed).
Quite stylish and just off the beaten track. Decent pint too.
Give it a go.

One of the best pubs in the area
Super pub with plenty of charm, a good range of beer, good pub grub and a large telly showing sport.
At the moment the next door building is under construction so it's not as nice as it can be to sit outside. It's on a quiet road to it makes a great place for a pint and a quiet lunch outside.
They do the best burger in the area made from beef from the Ginger Pig over the road. Another highlight is their fish finger sandwich. Avoid their steak sandwich... it's disappointingly meagre.

Traditional Public House
This is a great place for socializing and getting pleasantly drunk, the service is charming and the choice of food or beverage is unerringly spot on.
Bar games are encouraged and quiz nights are popular.
There is a large function room on the first level with it's own entrance and facilities.
Tradition is the cornerstone here be you a 'Champagne Charlie' or a beer swilling luddite.
