Reviews for The Loft Bar
I recently had my birthday drinks @ The Loft & we had a wicked night. The staff behind the bar & on the door are really friendly & helpful, & the cocktails are absolutley amazing! My fav bar in Clapham!
What an amazing place! Great service, music, happy hour, food, basically everything! You can enjoy a night here with your boyfriend or have a good dance with girlfriends. One of the best bars i've been to in a very long time. Claire.
This bar feels like it has just stepped in from Manhattan, yet it contains none of New Yorks snobbery. For either drinks after work or a weekend session, it has all you need - great service, delicious cocktails and extremely cool music.
Great place to have a small private party for free. The staff are really accomodating and corner off an area of the bar just for you! The cocktail list is vast and not to pricey. Great city vibe.
Apart from housing two of my main bugbears - a point in the evening where the bar stops serving pints (only bottles) and *those* 'bathroom beggars', I found The Loft to have a great, easy-going vibe with very attentive and friendly staff. In fact some of the friendliest bar staff I have come across - chatty, respectful and eager to please. I held my 30th birthday drinks here recently and the team were great will all my guests; and following a tip-off from my fiancé - even made a special 'birthday panna cotta' (as opposed to bday cake) with a candle in it. Nice touch ;)
The place itself looks cool without being self-conscious about it, and you can forget you're in Clapham for a while. Would recommend, especially for parties or reservations. Also the bar food - namely the pan fried squid was excellent!
Top draw bar. Great drinks, friendly staff. Really cool design too. Haven't eaten there yet. Will try it out soon for sure though.
Really nice place. Staff were really friendly and professional, lovely drinks, place looks great. Had a wicked night.
We had a lovely time at the Loft on Saturday for dinner. The food was delicious, and the floor staff excellent. The young lady who seated us looked after us all evening was very friendly, well organised, and we were all impressed that she knew from our pre-order who had ordered what. Then we started on the cocktails, and it all went a bit hazy.
In Short, we had a great time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Loft to anyone considering holding a party there. In fact, I'm sure we'll be back there soon too.
What a place! Great food, friendly staff, and amazing cocktails.
Queen B has pretty much covered this place but I have a few things to add. It might be a good place if you're having group get togethers as you can reserve tables which might be handy as this place packs out really fast. Also, I haven't tried anything yet but the menu looked pretty good and apparently the head chef used to work at the Glasshouse so it might be one to add to my list of places to try! Will keep you posted.
