Reviews for The Star at Night

In fact, if you ignore the members clubs, there is no other place like it. The Star is a mixed gay bar, which has retained a family-run kinda feel. There is table service, no cards policy and in-house DJ on weekends, playing housey tunes, which give a bit of atmosphere but dont kill the conversation. It has a priceless collection of old ads, from before and after the war and is just plain cosy. Maybe most importantly, you can always find a table in this place. Please note though that it is only open from Tuesday to Saturday night 6-11pm.
