Everytime I went I was hoping that the place would be bigger.. it is a small bar. The music is mainly RNB and the place is friendly enough. However drinks are expensive.. the Base Bar has so much potential but everytime I go there I end up wishing it could be so much more..

"A new, up and coming bar in the heart of stoke newington (Opposite church street). With dance and lounge areas creating a comfortable atmosphere. Serving a large range of cocktails, fine wines, champagnes, draught/bottled beers and hot beverages. Resident DJ's mixing soul, funk, rare grooves, jazz and disco over the weekends until 3am creating the perfect setting for stylish 21's and above. Friendly staff and reasonable prices."
