The pub has the least amount of character out of many pubs i've visited. I had the misfortune, to lay a foot into it. Poss. still the largest pub in the world (?), But nothing to offer.

Different.. But then it is in Camden

Random. That's the word to describe this bar. Depending on the day the music line up could be anything. More often then not it seems to be a single album playing from start to finish. If you come in on a good artist then great, otherwise... you can stand outside.

Visit on a Sunday afternoon to hear some great music from some up and coming musicians. I've heard some great bands here and you can get right up front.

The clientele is as varied as you can get. If there is a metal gig going on in Underworld, then the crowd can seem intimidating. If you don't like it don't go to Camden! The Camden atmosphere is the best in the world, never felt so relaxed in my life.

A great bar in a great place.

I have been here many times (although mostly during the daytime) and had lots of good times here. If I go in the daytime I always head up the spiral staircase to the little balcony floor where there are sofas. It's much nicer up here and you can really chill out. Failing that I head down the stairs and sit where it's much coasier. I have only been to one gig here (unintentionally) and it was OK, not amazing though.
This pub is well located in the middle of Camden opposite the tube station.
Drinks are quite expensive here (as they are through most of London), slightly more than other pubs I have visite in the area!

Great addition to fun night in Camden

After a short sobering wait in line, you down the stairs to a dark smelly, loud music pit. However don't be put off, this place has all the character of a great snakebite fueled evening. Having witnessed some of the greats play here, for example the Foo Fighters, there is real variety in the music and the clientel. On a friday evening expect cheesy 80's with great classics from this era. Saturday night is a mix of rock and metal with some popular chart numbers added for good measure. Dont wear your best outfits and do expect to get sweaty on the dance floor!
