I'd heard about this place through the Brockley Blog and that it did a very nice Sunday roast. Intrigued, my boyfriend and I went along one sunny Sunday to find out for ourselves.
It seems popular, so book in advance if you can! THey found us some space in the backyard/garden space which was nice and bright yet well sheltered. The inside is traditional pub fayre, and the ambience is very welcoming!
Staff were friendly and helpful and the food arrival was prompt. It was also cooked with fresh ingredients, and delicious.
My boyfriend thought it was too pricey, but I was happy to pay that for the quality food we received!
As a sleepy Sunday afternoon, it was fab!
