The amazing cocktails make it well worth the trip after a hard day at work and at 2 for 1 from 6pm-8pm, well that just sweetens the deal! This is a modern, unpretentious yet trendy bar and even the toilets are nicely decorated. Sometimes you do need to wait for a table, especially on a Friday but at lunchtime it’s a bit quieter. There is music playing but you can still hear yourself think, which is very unusual and welcome! If you’re worried about your liver they do some great non-alcoholic drinks including a great milkshake! Go and you won’t be disappointed!

Bar 55, tucked away on Jamestown Road in Camden has the potential to be a good pub or bar, however the interior feels souless and lacks seating in a big way, the cocktails are pretty standard; be prepared to wait, even a glass of wine seems to take the amount of time it does to produce a cocktail. The staff are pretty helpful but not overtly friendly, particularly when my handbag was stolen; the bar staff had the standard 'no liability' spiel and didn't seem particularly suprised or offer to call the police. I can only imagine after reading Shunter's review that you work there. There are plenty more pubs/bars in Camden that offer better service and atmosphere, I'd try them first.

This is a great bar with loads of delicious cocktails to choose from, but most importantly every night from 6-8pm it's BUY ONE GET ONE FREE on every cocktail : )
The bar staff are really nice and friendly and are good at making cocktails. The music is great and it's a nice place to go with a few friends. Highly recommended : )
