There is nothing worse than living in SE14 and being forever told that New Cross is the new Shoreditch, or the new East, or whatever. Thanks for your money North London types, but now leave me some room at a beloved part of New Cross.

A great live music venue, home to the odd local festival too, as well as home to some rather trendy weekend markets, this is a great venue. The cocktails in happy hour, the pies, and the Sunday Carvery are all faves.
