  Foods Good but..

  The Old White Lion, is a stones throw from East Finchley station, reasonably young crowd, supported by young bar staff, that are friendly, reasonably trendy, but could serve a bit quicker.
  Pricewise not the cheapest place in the neighbourhood, but certainly not the most expensive.
  Sunday Roasts are good, but their are better places nearby such as the Spaniards, The Windsor Castle or The Bald face Stag.
  In the summer this place has a fantastic beer garden, that dispite being next to a busy road, and Junction, feels surprisingly tranquil.
  The drinks / wine choice for a local pub is great, and is the real highlight of this establishment.
  For Summer Highgate hampstead East Finchley, makes a good alternative to Central london.

  East Finchley's local a lovely place to be

  Now, they say having a good local pub is a good thing. Well, having the Old White Lion within strolling distance is a fantastic opportunity indeed.
  
  Literally seconds out of East Finchley tube station, this pub is relaxed yet trendy. In the chilled out beer garden there are interesting antiques, and a sheltered area adjoining the pub.
  
  Great drinks, good food and reasonable prizes. Perhaps the ladies, although adequate, could improve?
  
  If you're in the Finchley area, give this place a try.
