This place is awesome!

There are loads of sofas and tables and tons of funky stuff to look at.The place has a great atmosphere and plays super music - all time classics and pretty new stuff too. They have a large selection of drinks and some yummt cocktails. There are 2 floors so always somewhere to sit and chat and the staff are really friendly and helpful.They really are smiley. The food is tasty although a little pricey but no one really minds as you wont have to eat for a week after a meal there.

Its a great place to chill out after work or good to spend a sat night! Youll definately be sure to see me around there this week and the next and the next.

This is a place you absolutely must check out!

I won't have a word said against the place :)

Spread over two floors with a typical bar layout downstairs, and sofas and pool tables on the 2nd floor, the Surgeon is roomy and comfortable.

I've run meet-ups here many times and almost always drop in for a quick drink or some very good food when I'm around Leicester Square. One of the things which keep me coming back has to be the wonderful staff.
for instance, are you under one of the speakers and finding the - usually good - music a bit too loud for conversation? They'll turn it down for you, just ask. They're never less than happy to help and - wonder of wonders - come up to you with a genuine smile. A far cry from some of the surly nonsense you can find elsewhere.

I thoroughly enjoy every visit. The prices on food and drink are a little bit high but you do at least get what you pay for (generous helpings!) and its still cheaper than the local alternatives, which is saying something for a bar in that area! :)
