The Richard 1st is a charming traditional pub that prides itself on having no TV or music, just the best conversation and a beautiful back garden.

Also known locally as Tollys due to the fact that it was once owned by the Tolly Cobbald Brewery. It also still has many of its original Victorian features.

Young's brewery makes this a great ale house, and they quite often have some interesting guest ales.

Not exactly a party-pub, this is ideal for a few people to go down to, relax, have a chat with the regulars and generally escape the touristy world of Greenwich centre.

This is what i would call a nice little boozer, it has one of those middle class kind of atmospheres, if that makes any sense, i guess its because of where its positioned, on a quiet back street away from the main drag and hustle and bustle of Greenwich town center. A good range of hand pulled ales, and a nice friendly crowd, mostly occupied by locals from the surrounding very expensive houses, hence the middle class atmosphere, having said that all are welcome, and are made to feel welcome, If its a quiet drink you want, this is the place to go.
