Reviews for The Duke Of Sussex

Dropping in for lunch one quiet afternoon I was immediately impressed by the period/contemporary decor - giant chandeliers and rustic wooden furniture. Beautiful island bar in the middle of the room and a large atrium at the back. The service was fast, friendly, efficient and the food was excellent. The menu is a refreshing mix of fairly unfashionable Spanish favourites, some offbeat numbers I wasn't brave enough to try and modern British food: I had paella and my companion the steak and chips. I hardly ever recall what I ate in a restaurant so it's testament to this place that I am still dreaming of that paella, it was exceptional. I wish I had a local as good as this. Go.
