  Good Ealing Common Bar

  The Common Room is a stylish looking bar serving decent food, close to Ealing Common. It has a clean, modern interior, some tables out the front (on busy Uxbridge Road), and friendly service.
  
  We have popped in there a couple of times for a drink, and for a meal on one occasion. The menu had an eclectic mix and there were plenty of wines by the glass to keep us happy.
  
  Their cocktails are good - one evening Alex had a particularly memorable vodka Martini.

  Cocktail hour in Ealing

  The main draw at the Common Room is the fantastic cocktail list: try the wokka lychee martini! The bar staff take their time crafting their creations which can mean a long wait in busy periods, but it's always worthwhile, especially if you pitch up between 5pm and 8pm when cocktails are 4.50 - a shame their all-day happy hour on Sundays is no more. The ambience is relaxed, friendly and you can dress up for an occasion or drop in in jeans and trainers on your way home from playing frisbee on Ealing Common, whatever takes your fancy. They serve food and bar snacks, and the live jazz on Sundays is an added bonus. I held a birthday party here a couple of years ago and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
