Since changing hands early 2007 (or late 2006) the Barley Mow has become a great pub, serving a huge range of beers/lagers and with some good food. Sunday lunches are pretty damn good there.

With a huge outside space it's rare to see any seats free as people use this pub as a meeting place/starting place (and usually end up there all night anyway)..

A relaxed and friendly atmosphere adds to the new Barley Mow look and feel and you can even catch some sports for the big game occasions. Staff are helpful and inside the pub you can find a range of games machines, pool tables and old but comfortable sofas to plonk yourself onto.

Meet friends or have a lazy sunday reading papers. A pub for all.

Thanks for the review. Have been meaning to get here since the new people took over - sounds like it is worth a visit.
