The Castle is Tooting’s local pub. Despite being on the High Street and right in the heart of Tooting, it’s still frequented by a ton of regulars. The Castle is Tooting’s local pub. Despite being on the High Street and right in the heart of Tooting, it’s still frequented by a ton of regulars. But it also has a lot of room for strangers so don’t be put off. It’s a friendly place and good for watching the football. Many of the regulars work as crew members on the ITV police soap opera The Bill. It’s clean, bright and tastefully done up like a good old fashioned boozer. Very plush and comfortable, big with plenty of room. The barmaids are really welcoming and the landlady is a cheeky sort that rules the place with a firm wink and giggle.
