This Kensal Rise newcomer has just about everything you could ask for in a local; friendly management, a bar where you can relax and enjoy your drink without feeling either in the way or the object of other drinkers scrutiny, and a smarter but relaxed dining room where some excellent cooking comes from an open kitchen.
Owners Mark and James have brought to Kensal Rise the very definition of a good British gastro pub - hearty food with a good choice of beers and wine. A separate bar area and a quieter restaurant - its a simple formula but so many restaurants and pubs contrive to get it wrong.
Try the fantastic Caesar Salad or the excellent Spaghetti Carbonara. Another must for all Taste London members is The Greyhounds superb Sunday Lunch.
There is nothing better than starting your day or ending your night in this fabulous gastro pub, with delicious food in casual and laid back surroundings.
