Beer and beef salad
I popped into Inn 1888 to meet some mates for a pint and a lunch. Its a our usual waterhole. The decor is great and staff are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has been revamped, and offers traditional thai cusine. The thai calamari, and if you like spice the beef salad is perfect with a pint. A reasonably priced pub with a great thai cusine is hard to come by.

ps. Just found out last night that they have a Thai restaurant upstairs. Bit of a bonus. Pretty simplistic but tasty all the same. V friendly staff.

Inn and out!
As the previous reviewers have noted the toilets, as well as being functional, are something of a feature here.
As are the goldfish which if keep growing at the rate they are may well soon qualify to be on the menu.
The first floor has now been converted to a Thai restaurant although most people appear to prefer to have their food delivered to their tables in the bar.
Several sofas and two open fires ensure for a comfy relaxed atmosphere.

Great Lunchtime Pub
Super pub. Just out of the way enough but still close to work. As the previous reviewer said the toilets are quite a sight. Bright red and terribly shabby.
We love the range of booze they've got and the friendly, very light atmosphere. Makes a change from some of its dingier neighbours.
They used to do the best burger in Marylebone but since thenn their food has gone drastically down hill. Shcoked by a menu that would give Jamie Oliver a haert attack I chose sausages, beans and chips and was disappointed. I've had better at post match teas at rival schools and hockey clubs.
Still, it's a great pub and I really hope they sort their food out again.
We've seen Barbara Windsor in here a few times which is nice. And our nickname for it is 118 118 just like the ad campaign featuring David Bedford lookalikes.

Red Rum
I like this place a lot, but I'm not sure why. Partly because it's become an easy meeting place for me to come from West London to meet friends from the South, North & East. Seems to have gone through a number of owners in the last few years. Was once owned by Denise Van Outen's boyfriend, I heard - who converted it into a very red yuppie pub with sofas and big tables inside and out for big or small groups of friends to meet up and hang out.
The men's toilets are so red that they almost make you feel you're in that dream image in The Shining when the blood cascades out of the elevators. They were super shiny once, but now they've got a bit shabby. But shiny or shabby, the redness of them really gives me the creeps, and as a result I'm a bit in love with them.
The food seems to vary - has had periods of being very good and bar snacky in large quantities. Last time I visited, they were trying to do something more wholefoody, which didn't work as well.
Have a video of the toilets somewhere - will upload at some point.
