One of London's greatest attractions, Tower Bridge Experience boasts an exciting exhibition in their twin towers. There is a panoramic view that overlooks the Docklands and the City. Great fun for the children as they have interactive computers and working models. Educational visits are warmly welcomed and guided tours are provided. Reviews for Tower Bridge Experience

Tower Bridge was completed in 1894, after eight years of construction and is the most amazing bridge even now. It looks fantastic at night and it was really good to see and learn more about it. The views from the top are incredible. The kids really enjoyed the machinery and hands on displays in the engine rooms. The interactive units that are on the walkways were very good too. The bridge is lifted around 1000 times a year to allow ships and other large craft to pass through, it did so once whilst we were in our car and it was so cool. A family ticket for 2 kids and 2 adults was only £14, a bargain for london, do not miss it.

The Tower Bridge experience may not necessarily be the top of the list of every tourists list of things to see in London but I would definitely recommend it. Just seeing the bridge from the outside is great but on the tour you get to see all the history of the bridge and how it came to be built, and also some of the things thats happened during the war and other times. You also get a pass to see the engine room, which you shouldn't pass up as its really interesting, and I think especially kids would be interested in seeing the big machinery and seeing how the bridge lifts up. Also, the views from the walkway at the top of the bridge are pretty cool. You should definitely check this out - you can print off a 2-for-1 voucher from the internet which makes it even better value.

umm, people this is d place to see by night absolutely. i love this place , its sheer extravagant beauty stuns me , i had been here on a chily london night, felt cold but the sheer exquisity of this structre made me feel stunned, cold but out of surprise, the walk down the road reminds me of old london especially if you see those black cabbies on d way to go about their business. but anyway there is an expansive alleyway down d london brige, with the river thames streaming through, a pleaseant walk in someones good company is genuinely recommended, not wise to be alone down der - u cud feel damp in d head !!! hope u found this review useful, cheers

This two part attraction had something for all ages. The initial stage of the tour takes place atop of Tower Bridge which is accessed via a lift. There are various informative videos on the history of the construction of the Bridge in the towers on either side, and the walkway bridge itself holds several activity stations. The second part is beneath the second tower, and it holds an exhibition on the mechanics behind the raising of the bridge. There are plenty hands-on opportunities to test the science behind this attraction which anyone can master. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially for people with prams or buggys.

It is well worth walking across all the bridges across the Thames & Tower Bridge is one of the best!
I would have liked to have seen it open, but we were not so lucky this time - apparently ships have to give at least a days warning & then the times are printed (the road across the bridge is closed for over an hour!)
I would also recommend the Tower Bridge Experience as you get great views from the top of the bridge, & find out all about its history & how it works (included on London Pass- thoroughly recommended)
