The London Duck Tours company is such a good idea to go out and see parts of london in a new and fun way. It is a real winner.
The family ticket is £57 and is for 2 adults and 2 children, which is not too bad.

Your tickets are for a one hour and fifteen minute tour, which leaves from an area just behind the London Eye. The big yellow amphibious vehicles take you on a fun route passing famous london landmarks like Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament , Trafalgar Square etc. You see such a lot.You get told interesting facts along the way too.
Then the duck takes you on and launches into the River Thames from a slipway at Vauxhall for the part of the tour that is in the water. Such great fun it is. A bizarre but wonderful way to see the sights, thats for sure.

I love history, so travelling round London on a novel bright yellow vehicle looking at the sights was very entertaining! At the end of the sightseeing by road, the amphibious vehicle enters the Thames, and you see more sights sailing along the river. The entrance onto the Thames is the fun bit, down a slope and whoosh into the water!

I went on this tour with a party of schoolchildren and the staff were great, explaining the history of London in a very accessible way for the children, and making it fun by encouraging them to quack out of the windows as we went along. Great fun! Loved this-4 stars only because of the cost, expensive if you were to say take a family of 4 on it.
