Yea! Hippos my favourite "chippy" in all of formby and freshfield .. huge portions and a huge selection of tradtional fish and chips (burgers etc) and also some great chinese options. Its a stones throw from the Grapes pub, where we all used to hangout all the time, so i've stumbled into it many times for a goodie bag before bed. The staff are allways very friendly and dont mind joking around with you after you've had a few. Great prices, great menu, great portions .. it is enough to fill...
