Reviews for Quick Chef Ltd
Fantastic place, great atmosphere. Ignore all other recommendations and have the CALZONE, £4 and you won't be disappointed, it is epic. Vegee, meat or seafood. Try it...
Quick Chef is probably one of the best place for fast food I can think of in Liverpool city centre. The place itself is basic, but clean and quite nice and pleasant. Situated on Hardman Street, it is central to town and uni which is always convenient for students in need of a bite. It serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and opens late until about 11pm when it's next door counterpart Shiraz continues the night food often until early morning.
It has a great mediterranean breakfast menu. Dinner menu consists mainly of pizzas, burgers, etc but food is very yummy, good size, and very decent to the student pocket! I hear the chocolate cake is nice, although it is from frozen, might be something to try next time I think!
I think you can also get halal/vegetarian food here too. Overall, highly recommended for students or those who want a tasty cheap meal/snack.
This is a nice cafe and is open late, so you can go for a cheap informal evening meal. It is nothing special inside, quite informal and relaxed, clean and tidy. The menu is great, massive choice and very reasonably priced. You can get generous portions of kebabs, rice dishes, big breakfasts, burgers, sausage sandwich... a big variety of things. It is ideal for students as it is nearby to all the bars and clubs, and everything is cheap. I go quite a lot if we are trying to think of somewhere nice and cheap and cheerful for an early evening meal.
Quick Chef is a great alternative to the greasy fast food outlets that line Hardman Street. It is a decent sized cafe serving a range of kebabs, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and breakfasts. The food is always well cooked and very tasty. My particular favourite is the Falafel in pitta bread with houmous.
The staff are friendly, and the place has a nice relaxed atmosphere. You order your food at the counter and it is then brought to your table. It can get very busy at lunchtimes, particularly in term time when it has a lot of student customers, however you can usually get a table. If not then they do also offer a takeaway service.
